As part of the DSC National Week of Action on School Pushout, Families and Friends of Louisiana’s Incarcerated Children (FFLIC), Juvenile Justice Project of Louisiana (JJPL), Safe Schools Healthy Students - New Orleans Recovery School District (RSD), Kids Rethink New Orleans Schools and Young Adults Striving for Success (YASS) will host “Community Circle of Hope: Creating Positive School Climate by Securing Dignity and Respect for Louisiana’s Students,” an evening of deep listening and the development of solutions for reducing suspensions and expulsions.
