On MLK day of 2010 PSU launched the Campaign for Nonviolent Schools (CNS). CNS is a grassroots youth-led citywide coalition of high school and middle school students from nine youth leadership organizations (and counting) in Philadelphia, defying language, ethnic, and neighborhood divides to end all forms of school violence without pushing students into the criminal justice system.
