The Commutation Project, BPON, Freedom House, NESRI and Young People’s Project will host a community conversation titled “The Role of Progressive People of Color in the Fight to End the School to Prison Pipeline,” featuring guest speakers Dhoruba Bin Wahad, Rafael Cancel Miranda, Liz Sullivan, Kazi Toure, Glenn Lloyd and Myriam Ortiz.

Tuesday, October 4th
The Boston Student Advisory Council, Youth on Board and Boston-area Youth Organizing Project will host listening sessions at three Orange line subway stops: Forest Hills, Jackson Square, Roxbury Crossing and Ruggles. Youth members and adult supporters will question passersby about their experiences with school suspension and raise awareness about school pushout.
