The Black Organizing Project will host a panel titled “Do Oakland Students Deserve a Quality Education?” as part of the launch of their campaign against school pushout.  The panelists will include student, parent and administrator representatives who will discuss instituting new approaches to school safety, shifting budget priorities from criminalization to education and protecting students’ right to a quality education.

DSC-Los Angeles will host a “Speak Out Virtual Rally” with participants from Fresno, Oakland, Los Angeles and Sacramento.  The rally will feature an art installation of school to prison pipeline testimonies.
